Introduction to PhotoAny
PhotoAny is a Windows desktop tool for floating reference images. It is designed for drawing, modeling, design, tracing, and organizing visual material.
Pin references anywhere on the screen and keep them beside your canvas, reducing repeated switching between folders, browsers, and creative applications.
The current client version is 1.9.4. After purchasing and activating a code, you can use floating desktop references, the Material Library, Workbench, OCR, PDF, GIF, text boxes, line art, palettes, image-to-SVG conversion, the color picker, and web image import.
How to Use PhotoAny
Add references from local images, screenshots, the clipboard, or image URLs. Each image appears as a floating desktop window.
Move, scale, adjust opacity, rotate, or flip a reference and display its dimensions, aspect ratio, and resolution. Separate projects can be saved as workspaces.
Lock a reference and combine translucency with mouse click-through to continue working in the app beneath it. Multiple images can be arranged automatically or shown and hidden together.
The Workbench includes hue, saturation, brightness, contrast, sharpening, cropping, and background removal. Its workflow home processes only selected images, shows current settings on each card, and provides green, white, black, and custom-color background presets. Validated results are downloaded in a timestamped ZIP.
You can also run local Windows OCR, create editable text boxes, generate line art and transparent palettes, or create SVG code. PDF tools generate queued image-to-PDF tasks and PDFs from the current desktop reference layout. GIF tools split animations, combine images into GIFs, or build a GIF from selected sprite-sheet images with tile size, frame timing, and loop settings.
Web image import lets you select images from public pages in the built-in browser. The companion Chrome extension can convert a web image or send it directly to PhotoAny.

PhotoAny costs $9.9—one payment, lifetime access. There is no subscription fee.
Activation unlocks image import, floating desktop images, multi-image layouts, the Material Library, image editing and background removal, OCR, PDF, GIF, text boxes, line art, palettes, image-to-SVG conversion, the color picker, web image import, and the Chrome extension.
Keep your activation code in a safe place. It unlocks complete features and binds authorized devices; the applicable device limit is shown on the purchase page or in your order.

PhotoAny is a desktop reference-image tool provided by Beijing Spaces Software Studio. This policy explains how we may collect, use, store, and protect information when you visit the website, download PhotoAny, or use the desktop software.

1. Information We Collect
PhotoAny is designed primarily for local use. Imported images, screenshots, clipboard images, OCR text, PDF and GIF results, text boxes, line art, palettes, SVG results, workspace data, and local configuration remain on your device by default.
1.1 Website access information
Our server may record an IP address, access time, browser and operating-system type, visited and referring pages, download requests, and basic error logs for security, statistics, troubleshooting, and service stability.
1.2 Downloads and update checks
We may process the app version, operating-system type, request time, IP address, update-check result, and download record to provide updates and troubleshoot releases.
1.3 Activation and license validation
We may process an activation code, license status, device identifier, app and operating-system version, activation and validation times, deactivation time, IP address, and device-limit records to provide licensing and support.
We do not collect bank-card numbers or payment passwords. A third-party payment platform processes payment and may provide only information needed for order status, activation-code delivery, and support.
1.4 Local images and workspace data
We do not proactively read or upload local content unless you deliberately export, upload, or send it to us, or a future cloud feature is clearly introduced with your consent.
1.5 Web image import
You provide the page address used by web image import. The target website may record the request, and its content, access limits, copyright, terms, robots rules, and anti-crawling controls still apply. Do not bulk retrieve or use images without permission.
1.6 Logs and diagnostics
Local logs may include startup, feature, error, version, license, and update information. We view them only when you deliberately export and send a diagnostic package.
2. How We Use Information
We use necessary information to provide downloads, installation, updates, license validation, security, troubleshooting, product improvement, support, dispute review, and legal compliance. We do not use local references to train AI models, deliver advertising, or pursue unrelated commercial purposes.
3. How We Store and Protect Information
We use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards, access controls, security configuration, data minimization, and limited log retention. No internet transmission or electronic storage method is absolutely secure.
4. Sharing, Transfer, and Public Disclosure
We do not sell personal information. Where necessary, limited information may be shared with payment, hosting, distribution, email, or storage providers; lawful authorities; parties protecting legitimate rights; or a successor in a business restructuring, subject to applicable obligations.
5. Third-Party Services
The website or software may use payment, hosting, distribution, email, analytics, and diagnostic services. These providers have their own privacy and data-processing rules. Contact us for the current list.
7. Your Rights
Where law permits, you may request access, correction, deletion, consent withdrawal, device-record removal, privacy information, complaint handling, and other applicable rights.

8. Use by Minors
Minors should use PhotoAny with a guardian’s consent and guidance. We do not knowingly target minors for personal-information collection.
